    • Assistance with difficult decisions and advance care planning

Outreach Programme

Supporting Communities with Compassion and Connection

Paedspal’s outreach programme focuses on building the capacity of primary healthcare teams to deliver generalist palliative care in their own settings while ensuring continuity of care for existing patients.

By supporting institutions with multiple palliative care patients, we reduce the need for costly transport and improve local access to care.

Our outreach efforts include education through multidisciplinary meetings, information sharing, and home visits in key areas like Atlantis. We also provide telephonic and electronic support to community-based teams and hospitals across the Western Cape.
